I am currently recruiting for a part time Finance Assistant to work in a busy construction company on the outskirts of Orpington. Flexible working is offered with this role from 24 - 30 hrs per week β but must include working on a Friday As the Finance Assistant, you will be a key member of the finance team, providing comprehensive support across various areas of finance administration. The role will cover finance duties for the whole of the group Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include;- Mainly managing sales ledgers with occasional purchase ledger duties Raising sales ledger invoices Assisting with general finance-related duties, Credit Control duties (approx. 25% of role) Financial record keeping and reporting Support to the Financial Controller and Finance Manager Accurate record keeping and working to key financial deadlines and within compliance guidelines Ensuring accurate financial records to support the overall financial health of the company. Relationship building with internal and external contacts to maintain good communications Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, or in a similar finance support role.
