Supports assigned business units with recruiting, onboarding, and general HR needs in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site and requires working in the office daily.

The HR Representative supports designated business units by delivering day-to-day Human Resources services, with an emphasis on recruiting and onboarding. Working closely with senior HR partners and business leaders, this role helps ensure a consistent, positive candidate and employee experience—from opening a requisition through a new hire’s first days on the job. The Representative partners with hiring managers to plan and execute talent acquisition activities, including posting vacancies, developing sourcing strategies, managing applicant flow, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting the onboarding process. The HR Representative also builds strong relationships with managers and employees, serving as a first point of contact for HR questions and guidance. This role is ideal for a Human Resources professional who wants broad exposure across HR while owning recruiting and onboarding responsibilities. Success in this position requires strong organization and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of professionalism. Initiative, timeliness, and accountability are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, post, and maintain job postings on internal and external job boards.
  • Review and screen resumes/applications on a timely basis and move qualified candidates forward.
  • Conduct phone/virtual screens, support in-person interviews, and help deliver a strong candidate experience.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and candidate travel (as applicable).
  • Partner with leaders to gather role requirements and draft/refresh job descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate data and files in HR systems; ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation and exit processes.
  • Serve as an HR resource for assigned business units by answering questions and routing items appropriately.
  • Learn and apply core HR disciplines (employee relations, policies, compliance, and HR operations) with guidance from senior HR partners.
  • Collaborate with HR teammates on projects and process improvements as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
  • 2+ years of related HR, recruiting, or HR operations experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources.
  • Recruiting experience (technical recruiting a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS/ATS platforms is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with candidates, employees, and leaders.
  • Exposure to immigration-related processes is a plus.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to gather information, identify risks/issues, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, meets commitments, and drives work to completion.
