Company Overview: Team Outrageous is an independent brand innovation studio based in the north of England. Our focus on the next-generation consumer knows no bounds and fuels our brand innovation partnerships with KFC, PizzaExpress, Jacob Douwe Egberts, PepsiCo and beyond. Creativity is at the heart of what we do—new ideas, imagining futures, visualising concepts, and creating worlds. We give brands and businesses the confidence to be brave, bold, and assured in strategies that unlock future consumer relevance. Team Outrageous has ambitious growth plans with a five-year plan in place for the business. Since 2024, we have adapted our business model from a supplier-led ‘collective’ to a more traditional agency model with a growing team of seven seriously brilliant innovators. As our client base grows, we are now looking for a passionate, experienced, and energetic Head of Innovation Strategy to play a fundamental role in the development of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership of creative and complex innovation projects—from NPD, pipeline, innovation visioning to fundamental futures-led business change.
- Client growth through high-level strategic understanding of commercial and innovation needs and potential, owning key client relationships over time.
- Team leadership—developing a young and hungry team of innovators.
- Expert deployment of a broad toolkit of strategic tools (insights, brand auditing, competitor analysis, trend forecasting and beyond) that lead to creative and compelling recommendations.
- Methodology development—keeping our approaches fresh and innovative.
- New business responsibilities—delivering a measurable contribution to overall revenue targets.
- Contribution to our ‘voice’ through social and PR ideas and content.

- In-depth innovation strategy experience either in agency or client-side.
