  • Redhill, Surrey . This is a full-time, permanent administration role within a busy

Claims Department , offering excellent training and long-term career development.

The successful candidate will provide claims administration and general administrative support , managing claim records, processing payments and remittances, maintaining accurate computerised records, following up outstanding actions and supporting the wider claims team.

Previous administration experience is preferred but not essential , making this an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused candidate looking to develop a career in claims administration and insurance .

Key Responsibilities – Claims Administrator

  • Manage

BACS recoveries , including maintaining accurate claim notes and diaries.

  • Chase outstanding engineer fee recoveries and close claims where appropriate.
  • Process excess BACS remittances to clients and update internal systems.
  • Process incoming cheques , including completing cheque receipt documentation and updating records.
  • Review and confirm insurance policy cover for windscreen repairs and replacements.
  • Manage windscreen claims from setup through to completion .
  • Request payments from Accounts and Insurers as required.
  • Maintain accurate diary chasers and follow up outstanding claims actions.
  • Review monthly statements and outstanding invoices to ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Process weekly windscreen imports and manage associated monthly payments.
  • Ensure claims information, payments and records are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Provide general administrative support and undertake ad hoc duties as required.
  • Provide team cover during colleague absence to ensure the smooth running of the Claims Department.

You will ideally have

  • Previous administration experience
