Purpose of the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the treasury and tax processes and working closely with the senior finance team on various projects, such as M&A and diligence. You'll bring strong technical expertise in tax and corporate accounting, ideally gained in a practice environment and enhanced by industry exposure. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, international setting and enjoys both hands‑on accounting and strategic project work.

Responsibilities

  • Managing cashflow reporting and group models for several internal and external stakeholders
  • Support and manage debt facilities and loan structures, including covenant monitoring and liquidity analysis
  • Manage key areas of taxation for the group, including group tax management and liaising with and providing information for tax advisors in UK and US on corporate and personal tax
  • Support commercial decision‑making with robust financial analysis and insight
  • Build, review and maintain financial models, including cash flow forecasting, sensitivity analysis and valuation models
  • Act as a key point of contact for external valuers, lenders, investors and professional advisers
  • Support due diligence, acquisitions and wider strategic transactions
  • Prepare high‑quality analysis and papers for senior leadership and Board‑level decision making

About you

  • Qualified ACA or equivalent qualification required, with 5 years+ PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax and corporate accounting – ideally from a practice background with exposure in industry
  • Knowledge or exposure to US tax would be beneficial
  • Strong technical capability across debt facilities, financial modelling and asset valuations
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to challenge assumptions and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, personable approach
