Purpose of the role

The Campaign Manager works closely with clients and the team to ensure the efficient and effective management of accounts. They understand clients’ objectives and deliver high levels of service while building long-lasting relationships. The Campaign Manager translates creative thinking into action, prioritising tasks efficiently and setting a motivating example for the team. Exceptional media relations skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients on media opportunities related to the news agenda daily.
  • Oversee all media relations activity on behalf of the client.
  • Maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and analysts across various media channels.
  • Provide content for campaigns and projects, including press releases, articles, blog entries, and social posts.
  • Proof-read all written materials, such as biographies, media alerts, and briefing documents.
  • Advise clients on the types of content that will best achieve their goals.
  • Utilise social media tools to optimise and apply to client needs.
  • Work closely with line reports to set objectives and support career development.
  • Maintain a consultative relationship with clients, defining deadlines and service agreements.
  • Regularly review account performance with clients, identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Drive the team to develop compelling content and campaigns for clients.
  • Ensure effective budget management in collaboration with clients and the wider TEAM LEWIS team.
  • Support new business pitches with coordination, content generation, and presentation preparation.
  • Ensure all client activity meets KPIs and provide insight and analysis.
  • Analyse campaign success and identify key learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Attend and lead daily press briefings and training sessions.

About you

Experience in a PR or integrated communications agency is essential. You will work on existing clients and play a vital role in growing new business. We seek a skilled Campaign Manager with a strong understanding of clients’ business needs and requirements, particularly in B2C communications with a solid portfolio of consumer clients. Experience with B2B tech clients is also beneficial.

You should be comfortable discussing integrated marketing solutions involving creative, digital, demand generation, media, and reputation management. Experience in a fast-paced, international environment and with regional teams is advantageous. A thorough knowledge of the media and current affairs is required, along with impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
