We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator with a passion for events and supporting our cause. You will lead a small team of volunteers to develop a range of events, both in the UK and internationally, to generate income, raise awareness and engage supporters.

What are we looking for? The right person for this role is someone who has a true affinity for connecting people from all walks of life who are interested in coming together with like-minded individuals around topics pertaining to social justice and Global Citizenship. Someone who has the ability to recognise the value of Team Kenya in addressing social and gender inequalities and using their skills to create events that encourage meaningful connection and galvanise action. We are looking for someone with experience and skills in events management, project management and leading a team. Good communication and organisational skills will be very important as will team-building skills.

What will you be doing? We are looking for someone with experience in events management, who has designed and delivered a variety of different events, leading, managing and working as part of a team of volunteers.

  • Developing an events strategy
  • Leading a team to devise & deliver events, with the aim of recruiting new supporters, expanding our reach, engaging communities in Global Citizenship and raising funds
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteers able to support all events planning, logistics and operations
