We are seeking a designer to create visuals for our social media, presentations and brochures to showcase how the lives of rural Kenyan communities can be impacted. It is an opportunity for a volunteer’s skills and creativity to shine and help reach audiences for a great cause.
What difference will you make? We are a small charity. Each one of our volunteers is key to our success and to improving the lives of girls and women in rural Kenya, so you will gain valuable experience while making a genuine difference.
Responsibilities
- The core responsibility is to create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms and marketing collateral.
- A volunteer will work with the Comms & Marketing Team Lead and fellow volunteers from the Comms & Marketing and Fundraising teams to develop campaigns on social platforms and email outreach.
- It is important to ensure that online content complies with the company’s image and standards.
- Graphic designers at Team Kenya are welcome to express their creativity and proactivity and brainstorm ideas for posts with the team and create graphics, visuals, and videos to accompany them.
Qualifications
- Experience creating posts, visuals, and videos for social media aligned with ethical storytelling and Team Kenya's vision and mission.
- Understanding of social media principles and concepts.
- Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva (We have Canva Pro).
- Creativity.
- Sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines.
