This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site. The successful candidate will play a key role in investigating quality issues, driving corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement across the business. This role will suit someone who is proactive, confident making quick decisions, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve quality issues to root cause
- Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Analyse quality data and trends to reduce Cost of Poor Quality
- Maintain and improve Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
- Conduct internal product and process audits
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in quality investigations and problem-solving
- Proactive mindset with the ability to make effective decisions quickly
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality tools (CAPA, RCA, FMEA, SPC)
- Confident communicator able to influence across teams
