We are recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established company within the architectural aluminium and glazing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team with long-term career prospects and hybrid working available after probation.
The Role
You will play a key role in pricing and securing projects, working from architectural drawings and specifications to deliver accurate and competitive tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed estimates from architectural drawings and specifications
- Taking off quantities and defining full scope of works
- Using specialist software to build accurate costings
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Raising RFIs and ensuring all project requirements are understood
- Obtaining supplier quotations and supporting technical information
- Submitting tenders and following up to secure feedback
- Identifying value engineering opportunities
- Supporting project handovers to design and delivery teams
What We are Looking For
- Experience in estimating within aluminium / glazing / facade / construction
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of Logikal software (highly desirable)
- Good understanding of specifications and project requirements
- Confident communicator with clients and suppliers
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
