A leading engineering manufacturer is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with around 3+ years of hands-on experience who wants to develop their technical skills, travel internationally, and work on specialist industrial equipment supplied to customers worldwide.
You'll begin with hands-on training in the Test Department, learning how to test, fault-find, set up and commission specialist process equipment before progressing into a global Field Service role.
Responsibilities:- Testing and commissioning specialist engineering equipment
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Installation, servicing and repairs at customer sites
- Providing remote technical support
- Producing service reports and technical documentation
- Supporting customers across the UK and internationally
- Working closely with internal engineering teams
- Around 3+ years' engineering experience
- Engineering qualification or relevant practical experience
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Strong hands-on approach and willingness to learn
- Comfortable with worldwide travel and overnight stays
- Good IT and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
