Are you looking to develop your career in M&E, building services, or life safety systems? We are working with a well-established engineering company specialising in smoke ventilation systems, who are looking for an Assistant Contract Supervisor to support the delivery of installation projects across London, Essex and Kent.
This is a development role suited to someone with site experience who is ready to take the next step into coordination and supervisory support.
The RoleYou will support Contract Supervisors and Project Managers in ensuring installation work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with day-to-day coordination of installation teams across multiple sites
- Supporting site supervisors with labour and subcontractor coordination
- Carrying out site visits to monitor progress and report updates
- Helping ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained on site
- Assisting with materials, deliveries, and site logistics
- Supporting snagging, testing, and commissioning activities
- Attending site meetings and feeding back progress to the operations team
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in M&E, HVAC, building services, or site-based work (entry-mid level)
- Good at communicating with engineers and site teams
- Organised and proactive on site
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety (SSSTS/SMSTS desirable but not essential)
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
- Holds a full UK driving licence
