The predicted salary is between 16 - 16 £ per hour.

Pay: 16 per hour

Contract: 6 months, with the possibility of going permanent

Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 6:30am-6:30pm

Training: Monday-Friday initially

The Role

We are looking for an experienced aviation workshop professional who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You will be working in an Aircraft Wheels and Brakes workshop, helping to manage the daily workload and supporting a team of around 15-20 people alongside the existing permanent Team Leaders. This is a great opportunity for someone who has good technical experience but doesn’t want to stay in a purely hands-on workshop role and wants to develop into a leader.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and organise the daily workshop workload.
  • Allocate jobs to technicians and make sure work is completed on time.
  • Monitor jobs through the workshop and help remove any delays.
  • Work with Stores to make sure parts and materials are available.
  • Help improve turnaround times and workshop efficiency.
  • Support and motivate a team of around 15-20 people.
  • Help with training and developing technicians.

Looking For

Ideally, you will have: 3-5 years experience.
