Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small warehouse team and oversee the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, improving warehouse processes and ensuring goods are received, stored and despatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

The Role

Working alongside a small team of two, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring stock is managed accurately, orders are dispatched on time and the warehouse remains organised, safe and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support and motivate the team
  • Allocate daily workloads and ensure operational targets are achieved
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with Health & Safety and company procedures
  • Oversee Goods In, order picking, packing, despatch and stock control
  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of deliveries, checking goods for damage or discrepancies
  • Carry out stock investigations, weekly cycle counts and annual stock takes
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, including delivery notes, Goods In records, SRNs, BOMs and despatch paperwork
  • Train and develop team members across all warehouse functions
  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and provide hands-on support where required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader position
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
  • Full UK drivers licence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems (Sage 200 experience would be advantageous)
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel
