An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations within a growing business. You will take full responsibility for warehouse performance, stock integrity, team leadership, health & safety compliance, logistics management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring high levels of productivity, accuracy and customer service.
- Oversee inbound, storage, picking, packing and despatch activities.
- Manage, develop and support warehouse management and supervisory teams.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR and company policies.
- Drive operational improvements, efficiency initiatives and cost control measures.
- Manage relationships with logistics and transport providers.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Maintain warehouse facilities and support future business growth plans.
About You
- Proven experience managing a warehouse or distribution operation with full operational accountability.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing managers and supervisors.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, Health & Safety and operational compliance requirements.
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient with warehouse management systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Warehouse, logistics or Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH) would be advantageous.
