TeamJobs are recruiting for a Quality Technologist to join a growing food manufacturing business based in Farnham. This is a hands-on quality role where you'll spend plenty of time on the factory floor, working closely with Production, QC and Technical teams to make sure products, processes and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.

If you have experience within food, drink or FMCG manufacturing and understand GMP, HACCP and food safety, this could be a great next step.

Salary & Hours: Up to £30,000 per annum Permanent position 37.5 hours per week Some flexibility for early, late or occasional weekend cover may be required.

The Role:

  • Carry out quality, process and hygiene checks across production
  • Support fermentation and bottling operations on the factory floor
  • Check production and quality documentation for accuracy
  • Monitor quality standards and process controls
  • Investigate defects, non-conformances and out-of-specification results
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Support product trials and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate quality and food safety records
  • Support audits, hygiene inspections and traceability exercises
  • Work closely with Production, QC, Technical, Engineering and Supply Chain teams

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous quality, technical or production support experience within food, drink, FMCG or a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety and hygiene
  • Experience carrying out quality checks and dealing with non-conformances
  • Confident working hands-on within a factory environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Degree, HND or equivalent experience within Food Science, Microbiology, Quality, Manufacturing or a related area
  • Experience within fermentation, bottling, liquid processing or probiotic manufacturing would be particularly beneficial, but isn't essential.
