Our client is looking for a Drainage Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will handle both reactive and planned drainage work for domestic and commercial clients, using high-pressure water jetting, CCTV surveys, and other specialist equipment.
Location: Southampton
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
Full Clean UK Driving Licence Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve drainage issues.
- Carry out drain clearance, de-scaling, root cutting, and minor excavations.
- Use high-pressure jetting and CCTV survey equipment.
- Provide solutions and recommendations to customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency services.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of drainage experience (plumbing experience is a plus).
- High-Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) certification.
- CSCS card preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- DBS check required as part of onboarding.
- Must be based in Southampton (SO Postcode).
Hours & Salary:
- 40 hours per week plus on-call availability.
- Monday to Friday
- 8.30am to 5pm
- £28,000 - £34,000 per year, depending on experience.
