We are looking to hire an Installations Engineer responsible for installing and configuring basic systems, conducting general maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The role requires a confident, handy person with strong customer‑facing skills who works closely with clients in their homes.
Responsibilities and Required Skills
- Technical ability: Ability to conduct general installations using DIY and power tools.
- IT: Confident with Microsoft packages and able to complete online documentation accurately.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver installations and support services on time and meet company goals.
- Planning: Stay ahead of the game and ensure plans are achieved.
- Problem Solving: Adapt to changing environments and react quickly to meet challenges.
- Customer Service skills: Clear communicator with patience and empathy.
- Communication: Effective communication between Sales, the National Installations Manager and other Installations and Service Engineers.
- Driving licence: A full UK driving licence is a must.
- English: Strong verbal and written English language skills are essential.
