Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their manufacturing operation and lead a busy electro-mechanical assembly team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Production Supervisor to play a key role in driving productivity, quality, safety and continuous improvement while ensuring production targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of assembly technicians to deliver production plans and business objectives.
  • Coordinate labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor performance, identify production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain output and quality standards.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, standard work and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure products are built to specification with accurate documentation and traceability maintained.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards across the production area.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
  • Support training, coaching and development of team members.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems within a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and BOM structures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
