Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their manufacturing operation and lead a busy electro-mechanical assembly team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Production Supervisor to play a key role in driving productivity, quality, safety and continuous improvement while ensuring production targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of assembly technicians to deliver production plans and business objectives.
- Coordinate labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
- Monitor performance, identify production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain output and quality standards.
- Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, standard work and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure products are built to specification with accurate documentation and traceability maintained.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards across the production area.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
- Support training, coaching and development of team members.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems within a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
