We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering and construction business looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial delivery of a range of construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong NEC3/NEC4 contract experience who enjoys taking ownership of project finances, commercial performance and contractual compliance.

What you'll be doing as Commercial Manager:

  • Managing the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects.
  • Administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including Compensation Events, Early Warning Notices and final accounts.
  • Monitoring project costs, budgets, forecasts and commercial risk.
  • Supporting tenders, procurement and contract negotiations.
  • Producing commercial reports and working closely with operational teams and clients.

What we're looking for as Commercial Manager:

  • Previous experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar.
  • Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge.
  • Excellent commercial, financial and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar is desirable.
