Are you an experienced Composite Laminator looking to join a growing manufacturing business working on high-quality composite products across a variety of industries?
We are seeking skilled laminators with experience in wet lay, pre-preg, resin infusion, vacuum bagging or RTM processes to join a busy production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of composite components in a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Composite Laminator - The Role
As a Composite Laminator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality composite parts while working from engineering drawings and lay-up specifications.
You'll ensure products are manufactured to the highest standards, identifying any issues or improvements throughout the production process.
Composite Laminator - Key Responsibilities
Carry out composite laminating using wet lay, pre-preg, infusion, vacuum bagging and RTM processes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and lay-up specifications.
Manufacture components to precise quality standards.
Use a variety of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, CSM and woven cloths.
Identify and report laminating defects.
Work closely with Quality to ensure products meet ISO standards.
Complete production documentation accurately.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Use hand tools safely and effectively.
Composite Laminator - About You
We're looking for candidates who have
At least 2 years' composite laminating experience.
Experience within aerospace, marine, automotive, motorsport or another quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of carbon fibre, GRP and composite manufacturing processes.
Experience with pre-preg, resin infusion, vacuum bagging or wet lay techniques.
The ability to read engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
