You'll be responsible for: Leading, motivating and developing your team across shifts Driving performance against production, quality and delivery KPIs Maximising machine shop efficiency, labour and resource utilisation Championing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement Supporting root-cause investigations and resolving operational issues Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping Working closely with Planning, Production and other key teams Managing performance, attendance, training and development within your team What are our client looking for in a Machine Shop Supervisor? You'll have previous team leadership experience within a manufacturing or machine shop environment, alongside a strong understanding of CNC machining, Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. You'll be a confident communicator and people leader who can stay calm under pressure, solve problems and motivate others to deliver their best.
