This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy fabrication environment producing high-quality fabricated and tube-based assemblies for a range of industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Fabrication and assembly of metal components from engineering drawings
- Gas brazing of tube and fabricated assemblies
- TIG welding and general fabrication work
- Preparation, cutting, fitting and finishing of components
- Inspection of completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
- Strong gas brazing experience is essential
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel and tubular components is advantageous
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- MIG & TIG welding experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of tube fabrication and assembly techniques
