We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our growing precision engineering team in Ferndown. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines, ensuring high-quality components are produced efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC turning machines
  • Change tooling and adjust offsets as required
  • Edit and prove out programs using Fanuc controls
  • Perform first-off and in-process inspections
  • Work from engineering drawings and specifications

Requirements

  • Previous CNC turning experience
  • Ability to set and operate CNC lathes independently
  • Experience editing programs on Fanuc controls
  • Competent using micrometers, verniers and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
