A leading precision engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join its night shift team.
The Role
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Producing precision components from engineering drawings
- Tool setting, offsets and basic program edits
- First-off and in-process inspection
- Working to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and other inspection equipment
Requirements
- Previous CNC milling experience
- Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Haas or similar controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Competent using precision measuring equipment
- Reliable with excellent attention to detail
