CMM Inspector - The Role
- Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
- Operating CMM equipment to inspect precision-engineered components
- Programming and editing CMM inspection routines where required
- Using inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges and height gauges
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and GD re
Looking For
- Previous experience as a CMM Inspector / Quality Inspector within precision engineering
- Experience using CMM machines and inspection software
- Knowledge of Mitutoyo, Aberlink, Renishaw or PC-DMIS systems is advantageous
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection
