This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician with a strong background in electrical systems and a keen interest in renewable energy. You will play a key role in installing, maintaining and repairing Solar PV systems across residential projects, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
The Role:
- Install, maintain and repair Solar PV electrical systems
- Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools and specialist equipment effectively
- Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with other trades on site
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
About You:
- Proven experience as a Solar PV Electrician or similar role
- Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Experience working with Solar PV installations is preferred
- Qualified electrician with relevant certifications
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Location & Travel:
Our main areas are Hampshire and Dorset, however projects can also take place in Kent, Dorchester and Bristol. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays.
