We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Service Director on behalf of our client, a well-established specialist business operating nationally across the UK. This senior leadership role is suited to an individual with a strong background in service operations, commercial management, and team leadership. The successful candidate will lead the growth and performance of the service division, driving operational improvements, revenue growth, and long-term customer relationships while contributing to wider business strategy.
Location
The ideal candidate will be based within a commutable distance of one of the key operational regions including Leicester, the Midlands, North West, or London, with flexibility to travel regularly across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage UK-wide multi-site service operations
- Drive revenue, profitability, and operational performance
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and full P&L responsibility
- Improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency
- Grow recurring revenue and service contract agreements
- Lead and develop service, planning, and engineering teams
- Maintain high customer service and delivery standards
- Track KPIs and report performance to senior leadership
- Support wider business growth and strategic objectives
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a senior service leadership role
- Strong commercial and P&L management experience
- Track record of driving revenue growth and operational improvement
- Experience managing multi-site service operations
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Good understanding of service delivery and engineering operations
