This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on seeing products come to life and has a clear understanding of the full product lifecycle - from concept through to launch.

About the Role

Working closely with the Buying and Product Development team, you'll support the end-to-end development of product ranges, ensuring each item is commercially viable, on-brand, and delivered within critical timelines. You'll play a key role in supplier communication, product tracking, and the development of bestsellers across your category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of new products across multiple categories
  • Liaise with suppliers on samples, costings, and lead times
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to support product planning
  • Help manage the critical path, ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Monitor stock levels and performance, making recommendations where needed
  • Ensure all product data is accurately maintained across systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, design, and logistics
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the customer and current market trends

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as an Assistant Buyer or Product Developer
  • Strong knowledge of the product lifecycle, from initial brief to launch
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for product innovation

Desirable

  • Background in retail, consumer goods or a fast-moving product environment
