TeamJobs are working with a growing and forward-thinking company who are looking for a skilled Heat Pump Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys hands-on work and is confident working across residential & commercial sites. You will play a key role in installing ASHP systems and modifying existing gas pipework, contributing to high-quality, compliant installations.

The Role:

  • Install, service and repair gas appliances and plumbing systems
  • Carry out inspections to identify faults in gas lines, pipes and fixtures
  • Work with hand tools, power tools and specialist equipment
  • Support installation projects, including system assembly
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
  • Keep work areas clean, organised and safe at all times

About You:

  • Proven experience in plumbing and gas engineering
  • Strong knowledge of pipework installation and repair
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Good mechanical understanding and fault-finding ability
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and technical drawings
  • Able to carry out manual handling tasks safely
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with system installation or assembly is highly desirable

Location & Travel:

Our main areas are Hampshire and Dorset, however projects can also take place in Kent, Dorchester and Bristol. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays.
