£28,000 - £30,000 basic + monthly bonus
Realistic OTE: £35,000 - £45,000

TeamJobs are working with a growing and well-established business in Poole who are looking for a Technical Sales Coordinator to join their friendly and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous office-based sales, estimating, project coordination or customer service experience who enjoys working with customers, preparing quotations and managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in managing inbound customer enquiries, understanding project requirements and providing accurate quotations and product advice. This is a fully inbound role with no cold calling involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound sales and project enquiries
  • Reviewing customer requirements and technical drawings to understand project specifications
  • Advising customers on the most suitable products for their projects
  • Preparing accurate quotations and estimates
  • Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records
  • Following up quotations and maintaining regular communication with customers
  • Negotiating rates with customers and suppliers where required
  • Coordinating projects from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Managing after-sales communication and resolving customer queries
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects progress smoothly
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Providing excellent customer service via telephone and online communication
  • Supporting with general office and administrative duties when required

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within internal sales, technical sales, estimating, project coordination or customer service
  • Confidence working with technical information and the ability to interpret drawings or specifications
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good commercial awareness and confidence preparing quotations
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple customer projects and priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive approach and motivation to achieve targets
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
  • Additional qualifications such as A-Levels would be advantageous
  • Previous project coordination, estimating or project management experience would be beneficial
