Job Title: Parts Assistant Location: Poole Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday) Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00 Friday: 08:30-15:45Salary: £26,000 – £27,400 per annum We are working with a well-established company in the industrial/manufacturing sector to recruit a Parts Assistant to provide administrative support to their parts team. This is a key role ensuring the smooth operation of the after-sales service function and helping to maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Process parts orders and customer enquiries using the company\’s computer system. Provide general administrative support including typing, filing, and archiving. Answer customer telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Liaise with Accounts, Sales, Engineering, and Packing teams, as well as shipping agents, distributors, and customers, to ensure timely despatch of parts. Process Agent/Distributor commission notes. Maintain a tidy and efficient working environment. Undertake any additional duties as required to support the parts section.About You Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or parts-related role is desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using computer systems to process orders. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
