We are recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established company within the architectural aluminium and glazing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team with long-term career prospects and hybrid working available after probation.
The Role
- You will play a key role in pricing and securing projects, working from architectural drawings and specifications to deliver accurate and competitive tenders.
- Preparing detailed estimates from architectural drawings and specifications.
- Taking off quantities and defining full scope of works.
- Using specialist software to build accurate costings.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Raising RFIs and ensuring all project requirements are understood.
- Obtaining supplier quotations and supporting technical information.
- Submitting tenders and following up to secure feedback.
- Identifying value engineering opportunities.
- Supporting project handovers to design and delivery teams.
What We are Looking For
- Experience in estimating within aluminium / glazing / facade / construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Logikal software (highly desirable).
- Good understanding of specifications and project requirements.
