We are recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established company within the architectural aluminium and glazing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team with long-term career prospects and hybrid working available after probation.

The Role

You will play a key role in pricing and securing projects, working from architectural drawings and specifications to deliver accurate and competitive tenders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed estimates from architectural drawings and specifications
  • Taking off quantities and defining full scope of works
  • Using specialist software to build accurate costings
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Raising RFIs and ensuring all project requirements are understood
  • Obtaining supplier quotations and supporting technical information
  • Submitting tenders and following up to secure feedback
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities
  • Supporting project handovers to design and delivery teams

What We are Looking For

  • Experience in estimating within aluminium / glazing / facade / construction
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of Logikal software (highly desirable)
  • Good understanding of specifications and project requirements
  • Confident communicator with clients and suppliers
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
