TeamJobs is excited to be recruiting for a well-established, respected engineering business specialising in smoke ventilation and life-safety systems. With continued growth across the South East, they are now looking for a skilled Projects Manager to join their operations team.
What you will be doing
- Oversee the full delivery lifecycle of smoke ventilation installation projects.
- Manage multiple sites across London, Essex & Kent.
- Lead pre-start meetings and internal handovers.
- Plan labour and resources using a live 4-week schedule.
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and site logistics.
- Manage procurement of materials and site equipment.
- Conduct site audits and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
- Oversee drawing revisions, variations, and technical queries.
- Manage commissioning, snagging and final handover reports.
- Work closely with internal admin, operations, and delivery teams.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing fast-moving installation projects.
About you
- Proven experience in Project Management within M&E, HVAC, building services or life-safety systems.
- Strong understanding of site-based project delivery.
- Excellent communication and team-leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety (SMSTS/SSSTS desirable).
- Electrical qualifications such as 2365, 18th Edition or 2391 (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to manage subcontractors, engineers and complex site logistics.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites.
