We are working with a well-established engineering company specialising in smoke ventilation systems, who are looking for an Assistant Contract Supervisor to support the delivery of installation projects across London, Essex and Kent. This is a development role suited to someone with site experience who is ready to take the next step into coordination and supervisory support.
The Role
- You will support Contract Supervisors and Project Managers in ensuring installation work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with day-to-day coordination of installation teams across multiple sites
- Supporting site supervisors with labour and subcontractor coordination
- Carrying out site visits to monitor progress and report updates
- Helping ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained on site
- Assisting with materials, deliveries, and site logistics
- Supporting snagging, testing, and commissioning activities
- Attending site meetings and feeding back progress to the operations team
About You
- Experienced in M&E, HVAC, building services, or site-based work (entry-mid level)
- Good at communicating with engineers and site teams
- Organised and proactive on site
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety (SSSTS/SMSTS desirable but not essential)
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
- Holds a full UK driving licence
