We are working with a growing specialist in life safety and smoke ventilation systems, and they are looking for a Fire & Safety Engineer to join their team. This is not your typical fire alarm role. This position is heavily focused on AOV, smoke extraction, and pressurisation systems across commercial and residential projects. What You will Be Doing
- Service, maintenance, and fault finding on:
- AOV systems (Automatic Opening Vents)
- Smoke extraction & pressurisation systems
- Fire dampers, fire curtains, and ventilation systems
What We are Looking For
- Strong experience with smoke ventilation / AOV systems (essential)
- Background in fire safety, ventilation, or life safety systems
- Experience with systems such as Colt, SE Controls, Velux, Geze, or similar
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Good understanding of compliance and safety standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with fire alarms or emergency lighting
- Knowledge of BS9991 / smoke control regulations
- ECS / CSCS card
