We are currently working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in the Poole area who are looking to recruit skilled CNC Turner and Miller to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner or Miller who enjoys working in a high-quality, close-tolerance environment and is looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday position.
The Role
- Setting and operating CNC machines (Turning or Milling)
- Editing programs at the machine (where required)
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection
- Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping
About You
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner and/or Miller
- Confident working in a precision engineering environment
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Haas or similar controls (advantageous)
- Quality-focused with good attention to detail
