We are recruiting for a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established service team. This role offers strong earning potential, varied work, and long-term stability. Engineers at all levels of experience will be considered.

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic salary up to £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Overtime and call-out required and paid at enhanced rates
  • Commission on sales leads generated from new customers introduced by you
  • Company van and tools provided
  • Van available for domestic use
  • Pension scheme
  • Work phone provided

Working Hours

  • Site hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • 30-minute unpaid break
  • 30-minute unpaid travel allowance each way

Duties

  • Reactive service calls to refrigeration equipment
  • Installation work including chiller and freezer rooms, beer cellars, and remote shop display systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Reactive fault finding and repairs
  • Air conditioning installations
  • Preventative maintenance

Overtime & Call-Out

  • Participation in overtime and call-out rota is required
  • All overtime, weekends, bank holidays, and call-out are paid at enhanced rates

Holiday & Sickness

  • 5.6 weeks holiday per year, including bank holidays
  • 10 days paid sickness after 12 months service

Requirements

  • F-Gas certification is required
  • Experience in refrigeration and/or air conditioning (all levels considered)
  • Strong fault-finding skills and a professional approach
