We're recruiting for a skilled engineer to cover Hampshire and Dorset, with a particular focus on candidates based around Southampton and Bournemouth. As the engineering team continues to grow, there is a strong commitment to keeping engineers working within their local areas wherever possible. The Role You'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of automatic and pedestrian door systems across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, retail, and public sector sites. Key Responsibilities Install, service, maintain and repair automatic and pedestrian door systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently. Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant. Complete all job documentation accurately using company systems. Deliver a high standard of customer service while representing the business professionally. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations. About You Minimum 2 years' experience working with automatic door systems (installation and/or maintenance). Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation. Full UK driving licence. Able to work independently and manage your own workload. Excellent communication and customer service skills.Desirable: Electrical qualifications. Experience with access control systems. CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain one).
