The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We\’re on the hunt for an In store POS obsessed person to join out Client Services team on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

This role has an immediate start, with the ideal candidate starting in July to ensure a seamless handover.

The chosen person will have arguably one of the best roles in supporting our client in delivering premium In-store campaigns for Seasonal and high priority store communications.

The role in a nutshell:

  • Support the Waitrose POS Channel Manager to drive customers and sales through effective use of in store point of sale both printed and on digital screens.
  • Responsible for project managing the editorial direction for point-of-sale communications to ensure they deliver the Waitrose business plan, reinforce the brand values and provide relevant and engaging content for the target customer.
  • Responsible for the planning of POS work into the Creative Design team ensuring delivery of projects on time and to budget. Implementing point of sale marketing and content materials.
  • Support the point-of-sale content programme, calendar and communication.
  • Create POS that is relevant, innovative, aligned with commercial activity, including CSR/environmental initiatives and delivers the POS strategy.
  • Manage the development of briefs for POS and work closely with other members of the Content & Design, marketing planning, store design, commercial operations, buying and merchandising teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Support the planning and production process and lead the development, delivery and implementation of all POS material for Waitrose branches.
  • Work with external partners, wider agency partners and suppliers to ensure delivery of POS material on time and to budget whilst maintaining good relationships. Identify cost saving initiatives.
  • Manage the approval of assets with relevant stakeholders. Review the creative at every stage of production and manage final sign-off. Manage and present creative at the relevant approval and governance meetings.
  • Financial management of POS budgets and P&L including planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Produce guidelines for retail for branch communication and to ensure the correct implementation and compliance.
  • Requirements

  • Point of sale and in-store communications subject matter expert: understanding, knowledge and experience of POS including end to end production and process management both on and offline.
  • Project management, planning and workflow: proficient in setting up models and ways of working to effectively manage projects and stakeholders to deliver on time, to budget and brief.
  • Numerical literacy: can read, understand, interpret and use financial information and data to make informed commercial decisions.
  • Stakeholder management: experience in internal and external stakeholders’ management including the briefing and commissioning of agencies and suppliers.
  • Excellent briefing, commissioning, proofreading and editing skills. Attention to detail and restless in delivering high levels of accuracy, consistency, legal and safety compliance and house style.
  • Must be fluent in Excel and Google Drive applications.
