Job Title: Legal Expert

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Expert to manage contracts throughout their lifecycle—from drafting and negotiation to compliance and oversight. You will support the Head of Policy & Compliance by providing legal advisory services, managing contractual risks, and contributing to fraud prevention strategies. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and market trends is also a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Management:
   • Manage, review, and draft contracts ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and third-party agreements.
   • Negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and partners.
   • Maintain organized records of contracts.
   • Support the onboarding and use of digital contract management tools.
   • Provide guidance on contractual terms to internal teams.
2. Support Policy & Compliance:
   • Assist in policy development, reporting, and research.
   • Collaborate with various divisions including Sales, Support, Legal, Data Protection, and Compliance.
3. Legal Advice:
   • Provide legal reviews and advice to management.
   • Review new products and services for legal and regulatory compliance.
   • Handle escalations, legal claims, and disputes.
   • Ensure adherence to laws such as GDPR, anti-money laundering, and other privacy laws.
   • Stay updated on emerging threats and adjust protocols accordingly.
4. Fraud Prevention:
   • Develop and implement strategies to prevent fraud.
   • Investigate potential fraudulent activities.
   • Monitor industry trends related to contracting and fraud.

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about Law with experience in legal agreements.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing legal compliance and negotiations.
• Curious, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Creative thinker with a results-driven attitude.
• Experience in the tech industry, especially domain names and hosting, is a plus.
