- Principal Accountabilities:
To provide a fast and flexible service in the manufacture of Leak Sealing hardware, precision and general fabricated and machined components and associated equipment. - Where possible support other areas of the workshop to assist with job completion.
- Inform the Workshop Manager of any anticipated delays to achieving deadlines on any work being carried out.
- Inform Workshop Manager of equipment / materials shortages which may affect day to day working.
- To work within the scope of quality assurance, safety and job procedures.
- To complete all relevant paperwork associated with daily production activities.
- To ensure machinery, equipment and personal protective equipment are maintained and to assist in the general housekeeping.
- When required work a reasonable amount of overtime to ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Ensure good housekeeping within the workshop at all times.
- Have flexibility with regard to teamwork and getting the job done.
- Actively promote the Core Values within all work based activities.
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship / qualification or equivalent experience
- Ability to use the range of workshop and engineering machines and hand held equipment
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to read Engineering drawings
Working Conditions:
- Workshop based
- Shift Pattern may be applicable dependent upon business requirements
- Overtime – weekend working
