Workshop Machinist

Grimsby +1 Full-Time No home office possible

The Requirements To Fill This Position Are As Below

To adhere to all safety requirements incl. safety checks of tools and equipment
To create precision-engineered parts from blank metal or plastic/composite materials using a variety of techniques including:
Prepare and use horizontal and vertical boring machines; (desirable)
Prepare and use lathes for turning operation
Prepare and use milling machines
Prepare and use grinding machines
Ensure products are manufactured to tolerances required on technical drawings
Apply screw-cutting techniques
Interpret drawings
Produce jobs within allocated timescales.
Actively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities
Must have NVQ3 in Machining, ONC Engineering or equivalent.
Highly experienced in use of Horizontal/Vertical Borers/Centre Lathes
