We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Valve Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with a strong background in valve maintenance and repair to play a key role within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a wide range of control valves and actuators, including positioners, boosters, solenoids, switches and regulators
- Maintain and repair various isolation valves, such as gate valves, parallel slide valves and ball valves, when required
- Use diagnostic tools and perform pressure testing
- Set up and calibrate associated instruments
- Ensure all safety requirements are followed, including conducting safety checks of tools and equipment
- Record valve overhaul and test details within the Valve Management System
- Actively promote and uphold the company’s Core Values in all work activities
Skills And Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, ONC Engineering or equivalent qualification is essential
- OEM training is desirable
- General understanding of Team products and services is advantageous
- Confident in using a wide range of workshop equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
Working Environment
- Primarily workshop based
- Occasional site work may be required by agreement
- May be required to drive company or hired vehicles when necessary
