Join to apply for the Multi Skilled Technician role at TEAM, Inc.. We are on the lookout for a committed and experienced Laser Tracking expert to join our team of highly skilled technicians on a full-time, permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to provide a range of Laser Tracking and other mechanical maintenance services to Company’s customers in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced laser tracking systems (e.g., Leica, FARO) to measure and verify dimensions of components and assemblies.
  • Conduct precision inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and industry standards.
  • Perform routine calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of laser tracking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Travel to customer sites and carry out work as instructed by the Company.
  • Attend site induction, local training, and Health & Safety training courses as required.
  • Liaise with the customer in the completion of the work and promote the Company at all times on and off site.
  • Complete and return promptly all paperwork required by the customer and Team (e.g., weekly record sheets, job sheets, expense claims).
  • Attend training courses as laid down in Training Management procedures and obtain necessary accreditation to enable progression through the grades.
  • Actively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities.

Qualifications

  • Four-year Modern Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline to NVQ 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in laser tracking, metrology, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in operating laser tracking equipment (e.g., FARO, Leica).
  • Experience with PolyWorks software or similar (desirable).
  • Must possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
  • To work offshore, must complete a recognised Offshore Survival Course and be medically fit.
  • Be aware of and work to QA and safety standards.

Working Conditions

  • Work location can be in the UK, Republic of Ireland, overseas, or offshore.
  • Work on customer sites in sometimes difficult and arduous conditions.
  • Night shift and weekend work may be involved.
  • Frequently working away from home for extended periods.
  • Candidates may be required to pass a medical fitness test.
