  • Principal Accountabilities: To provide a fast and flexible service in the manufacture of Leak Sealing hardware, precision and general fabricated and machined components and associated equipment.
  • Where possible support other areas of the workshop to assist with job completion.
  • Inform the Workshop Manager of any anticipated delays to achieving deadlines on any work being carried out.
  • Inform Workshop Manager of equipment / materials shortages which may affect day to day working.
  • To work within the scope of quality assurance, safety and job procedures.
  • To complete all relevant paperwork associated with daily production activities.
  • To ensure machinery, equipment and personal protective equipment are maintained and to assist in the general housekeeping.
  • When required work a reasonable amount of overtime to ensure work is completed on schedule.
  • Ensure good housekeeping within the workshop at all times.
  • Have flexibility with regard to teamwork and getting the job done.
  • Actively promote the Core Values within all work based activities.

Skills And Knowledge Required

  • Have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship / qualification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to use the range of workshop and engineering machines and hand held equipment
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings

Working Conditions

  • Workshop based
  • Shift Pattern may be applicable dependent upon business requirements
  • Overtime – weekend working

  • Various workshop and engineering tools and machines
