We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly motivated and resilient SENDCo to join our team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover for 0.1 FTE at High Bickington C of E Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed practitioner to play a key role in maintaining high standards of SEND provision and ensuring continuity of support for our pupils during the maternity leave period. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive Multi-Academy Trust with high expectations and a strong commitment to providing the very best opportunities and outcomes for every child. We are looking for someone who is committed to working collaboratively with pupils, families, colleagues and external agencies to secure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience of working as a SENDCo and/or an appropriate SENDCo qualification (or working towards). They will have experience of supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, alongside an excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and oversight of SEND provision throughout the maternity cover period, working closely with school leaders and staff to ensure that pupils continue to receive high-quality, consistent and inclusive support., We actively welcome visits to our schools.
