Site Engineer – CSA

Team Horizon is seeking a Site Engineer – CSA for a leading construction company with projects in Waltham Cross, London. The successful candidate will set out the construction works on site and ensure that all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.

What you will be doing:

β€’ Assist the Project Manager/Senior Engineer with day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Design Team Workshops, etc.).

β€’ Assist the Project Manager/Senior Engineer so that quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.

β€’ Understand the short-term programme ensuring that all requisite documents and information is available to enable the Project Team and Sub-contractors to complete the works in accordance with the programme.

β€’ Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure that works are completed as per programme, on budget to a high standard.

β€’ Work with the Project Team to identify any information gaps, develop solutions and rectify in conjunction with the site and design team in a timely manner.

β€’ Maintain an excellent relationship with the construction management team, subcontractors and supply chain.

What you need to apply:

β€’ Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.

β€’ Knowledge of construction techniques – competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, with an understanding of temporary works co-ordination.

β€’ Strong numeracy and record keeping skills, excellent organisational ability.

β€’ Understanding of project planning and programming.

β€’ Ability to make informed decisions & know when to escalate.

β€’ Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package).
